Lower East Side

The Lower East Side is a bustling and colorful neighborhood that has traditionally been the center of the immigrant melting pot. Today the neighborhood is becoming more modern as luxury apartment complexes and boutique hotels rise above the old tenement buildings.  The LES borders the East Village to the north, Nolita to the West and Chinatown to the South. The neighborhood has excellent public transportation as well as some of New York's most interesting places to eat and drink.

The Downtown has 5 properties in the LES. 4 of the 5 properties are gut renovated pre-war Tenement buildings whereas 49 Ludlow Street is a new construction building built in the last 15 years.
